Miss Thing
I'm Jeff! I'm 23 years old and this is my website, Pantherophis Paradise!
If you couldn't tell by the site name, I have a strong love for reptiles; especially snakes, and to specify even further, colubrids; and to go further than that, the pantherophis genus! They are absolutely my favorite animal on this planet, and I even have a pet corn snake!
My passions lie deepest in the care of animals, especially exotic pets. Reptiles, fish, inverts, small mammals, and birds. I specifically focus my energy and attention into reptiles because they are my favorite group of animal on the planet. These animals are so commonly neglected and I think we need to advocate for their proper care being more common knowledge; and be more outwardly against pet stores for selling these animals with often incredibly-high, or complex needs; for as little as $20. It too often leads to tragedy.
Some of my other passions include video games, retro toys/electronics (ie;furby;idog) dragons, animatronics, and probably lots more.
My hobbies include herping (the act of searching for wild reptiles for the purpose of photography; it's like snake birdwatching!), herpetoculture (the keeping of reptiles and amphibians as pets), drawing, 3d modeling, electronic restoration; and not a lot else. I am particularly boring!
You can expect to see these things and more on this website! I have a strong love for retro internet and would love to recapture the whimsy of some of my favorite extinct websites. (RIP to the FurbyFunhouse... I was so obsessed with that website as a 10 year old.)
